WP2 lays the conceptual foundation of EcoUnity. It brings together research, field experience, and partner expertise to develop a comprehensive Whitepaper on Social Mixing and In-Service Learning (ISL). These two methodologies form the backbone of the project’s approach to inclusion and sustainability education.
Through analysis of existing research, consultation with educators, and pilot experiences in partner countries, this work package identifies best practices for fostering intercultural dialogue, preventing segregation in multicultural classrooms, and engaging students in hands-on, community-based sustainability projects. The Whitepaper translates theory into practical guidance for schools across Europe.
The result is not only a methodological guide but also a strategic document with policy recommendations. By sharing evidence-based insights and tested approaches, WP2 ensures that EcoUnity’s impact extends beyond the partnership and contributes to broader European discussions on inclusive and sustainability-oriented education.
